Someone had to post this. It's stupid, but it actually works surprisingly well. You have 3 groups, and with good burn control generate no ghost heat. The alpha strike WILL kill you. Came up with this well in advance, but b33f was running it a lot last night. He somehow had a couple 1k+ games, but was mostly suiciding for instakills, because tiny dire star memes. Respect these, they're out there like mad right now and they can and will oneshot you.
This is the first time i believe in a build with 14% heat efficiency. I don't have piranha's but will be looking to pick them up for cbills
This might end up being the first mech pack I buy. I have just been reposting builds I have seen be effective among my friends and unit mates. In reality I am finding the 3 with 10 of these and 4 flamers to be the better mech as people start to test that. I am also liking the 1 with a heavy large, 2 flamers, and machine guns as a possible can opener, but I think when you get to big guns the arctic cheetah starts completely outclassing it.
5/5, This is the final form of the PIR-2 once you are nearly done skilling into heat generation and operations. It's the best unforgiving backstabber (you can literally one shot assaults), avoid ghost heat and overheat, which makes this build actually viable for single backstabs Anything fast will wreck you if he is smart enough to keep moving and spread the damage, plus you have bad heat dissipation compared to what you can generate. It can also be used to open the front armor, but it is risky since you have a very long burn and face time. Absolutely OP if used properly, but hard to use and not really viable if you can't sneak up on the enemy: you must always flank and avoid direct confrontation, you can't miss-click 2 weapon groups or you will overheat, more than often you better run away to cooldown even if you succesfully killed someone without being detected... Still, this is one of the builds that would actually need a nerf: despite being fun, there is no fun at all on the other side to get killed in nearly 2 seconds.
@CarloArmato I absolutely LOVE that you have the Jack-o-lantern cockpit items in this thing. So perfect!
400 dmg, 4 kills (3 solo) in Caustic Valley. Good luck achieving 1000+ damage with this build, but it's still a killer. Enjoy the flanking and backstabs.
Great run there, Carlo. Gotta say, the way your team-mates walk in front of your shots like that, forcing you to turn away or do all that team-damage . . . painful how the pugs can cost you so much heat, which is such a big deal! Those first two kills though? ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS!!! Somebody clip that
OP mech confirmed. Can 1vs1 in Solaris by simply aiming for the CT, evade to cooldown if you don't succed.
Don't say that too loud: I could be lucky to find someone with this build and heat scale himself to death due to misfiring
