Very high-mounted lasers for poking / hill-umping (is it how is called peeking from the top of a hill/cover?)

Hot and kinda mid-long range, but tanky and with very nice hardpoints. Just try to focus on a component and pop it.

The term widely used is poptarting, with or without jumpjets :)

Hill Hump like a Tank, or Pop Tart like a MECH!

    5/5,
Rated 5 stars based on a similar build that I run on a Battlemaster and is very effective.

Sure, as an 85 tonner the battlemaster has better heat management, adds AMS, and runs just a bit slower, but with the smaller geometry of the roughneck and the armor quirks, I think the Roughneck may actually be more surviveable.

Btw, heat management is easy - just don’t fire the HPPC when hot.

    5/5,
Solid build. I have the most success with my Roughnecks with this build by a long shot.
