The small lasers go in first and are not used. This makes the rest of the hardpoints extremely high. They are high enough to hit anything you can see. I fire in two groups to avoid ghost heat. The first shot is 3 LPL and the second group fires the remaining 2 LPL.

This mech has similar heat management to a 6LL Stalker 4N. It is actually slightly cooler.
All weapons after quirks and without ghost heat generate 31.5 heat. On a stalker all weapons after quirks and without ghost heat generate 32.8 heat.

The Stalker has the same number of heatsinks. The big difference here is that the Banshee gains 5 KPH, loses its Standard engine, have different effective ranges, the Banshee gets shield arms, the Banshee is slightly cooler, and the Banshee's hardpoints are by far superior.

Switching in a tag for a half ton isn't too costly of an addition.

I have been using this mech to get some crazy scores since Tuk.
I run an Xl380, with some more armour removed off the arms.
With over ride enabled, you can Alpha Twice in a row (with all 5 LPLs), and have time to get back into cover and shut down before you take too much heat (You can also normally walk it off, as long as you dont crit your cockpit).

With 55 Points of Damage being applied in half a second, you can cut alpha a light ST, normally remove all the armour off a medium leg, make a Heavys ST/CT go to red armour.
Something I have also noticed, is that a Single Wub of damage (about 0.2 of a second) is enough to headshot people. Since driving this mech 2 weeks ago, I have gotten 8 headshots without even trying.

    WUBWUBWUB!!!!!

As long as you can deliver more than 33 damage to the head you will instakill anything. If anyone overheats, this mech should be able to pull off a fairly guaranteed 1 shot kill.

For as much as I remember the weapons are set where you mount them the first time, and if you sell that weapon it resets and you can select the hardpoint, or something like that.

"Also worth noting - I think weapons are placed into slots in order according to how recently they are purchased. So if you have trouble getting a small laser at the bottom instead of the top, try selling (or temporarily equipping) them all and buying a new one, or do it with the weapon you actually want in there. That's just a trick I read somewhere, I've never tried it myself."

    Found on official forums.

So with this workaround you could then switch to :

    and gain some nice DPS.

If it works, I never tested. cheapest way would be equipping all your LPL, then you'd just need to buy 5

All weapons in all Mechs that I have tested are loaded from the ground up, in the order that you slot them in (Some exceptions are PPCs and AC10+ that have set positions (You CANNOT get a PPC to be shoulder mounted on a Banshee no matter what you do (Same for anything bigger then an AC5(So, no 3 MGs and Gauss rilfe)).
So you have to have the small laser slotted in to move the LPLs up high, no way around that, which is a shame as it stops you being able to run 21 DHS.
Plus, you would never use that ML, as it is worse in everyway then the LPL's, so its just not worth the heat cost (Heat is very costly in this mech).

I like the concept. I tried something very similar last yr when i had to elite my Banshee. Check this up:

    3 Weapongroups:
    1. MLas
    2. 2x LPLas (left)
    3. 2x LPLas (right)

I usually try to go with STD Engine since the Torsos are big.
