This build is a wrecking ball, to say the least. Having the LPLs both in the arm might make them more vulnerable, but it is easier to bring them both to bear on a target if you're arm firing. With double basics, it will get even nastier.
Will try this built using the HBR-A chassis. Moved the DHS and TC from the left arm. Put 2x cMG in the right torso for close defens. Can drop the 2x cMG for an extra DHS and armor.
Depends. HBR tends to be neutered if you take out its LT in a lot of cases, so you have to play carefully and maximize damage before the TBR engages you. HBR works far better as a support heavy than as a facetank the way TBR can perform.
Great stuff, but runs pretty hot w/o elites. Had do drop one ERML while grinding it to put out decent DPS. With elites though, it's brutal.
I moved the LPLs into the torso and dropped one ML for greater heat efficiency. I'm wrecking face with this.
This is probably one of the most obvious build for the Hellbringer F, but as nobody posted it yet I claim it for myself... The same loadout can be done on the other Hellbringers, but by using the F variant's RT this thing can 1) skip the armor on both arms (LA armor was needed on other variants to protect the laser(s) mounted there) to mount an additional DHS and 2) leaves the mech with an respectable amount of firepower even when the LT is gone. This is a match from leveling the build. At the time of the match I speed tweak was the only elite skill unlocked for this variant.
5/5, I'm using it on my Hellbringer F right now, and this thing is a beast! I'm regularly scoring 700+ damage matches (which is quite an accomplishment for me), i think this is the best HBR build i've tried so far.
Build is now very powerful due to new HBR-F variant, right torso energy. My take on the build is here:
