As the title states, I have an awesome drop recorded via shadowplay that seems corrupt. Is there any repair tool available?

    Cheers,

Well, to start with, define "seems corrupt." If the video itself runs, but is having issues, have you tried rebooting your PC and seeing if that makes it play normally? I've had that a few times with shadowplay, where I thought the sound was skipping and bugged, but it was fine after a reboot. The answer depends on your issue, I suppose ;)

It just doesn't start. all my previous recordings have a tumbnail, this one doesn't. It is however recognised as a video file

The file name is what causes it to be recognized as a media file, not whether it works or not.

Do you have an editor like Sony Vegas? You MAY be able to import it into Vegas and then render it as a different file type. You may have to crop out corrupted parts though? Dunno man.

Opening damaged files with VLC will sometimes offer a repair option, dont really know what it does or if it ever works thou. It will modify the file so better make a copy of it so you can try some other program incase it didnt work.
