So, the IS is using 7x MPL Thunderbolts?

    Yeah, I got this.

Edit: Changed the build to LT Satisfactory's build, as it runs a bit cooler with better DPS:

I dunno, seems a little hot... maybe drop the right arm and strip armor to get more goodies. Your sustained dps improves quite a bit and you pick up ecm, 1 dhs, AND tc2. Seems worth it to me to lose 1 wub.

God, I wish I could buy these guys. Hey, Cattra, mind posting a vid on them? Maybe on this build specifically?

Tried mine, and you're right LT...it was a bit too hot in testing. Changed to yours though, and it really worked out well. Even without basics, it can kill quickly, and once I get it elited it should be a nasty infighter. Capped out at about 550 damage, but again, that's without basics in a mech I've only spent a few rounds with...it will do better once I'm used to it.

Trying to post video, but it's derping. Will do it later.

Tweaked it slightly, more armor for shielding. TC2 isn't worth the weight in diminishing returns. And moved DHS to legs for better survivability of the DHS and potentially better cooling when fighting in water.

A quick video showing the build. This was my first of the day and I had just woken up, so I actually play kinda crappily ;) I did better later, but those didn't record as well. B0ilz was watching me, so I was chattering at him a bit once I noticed him there.

(note, video may still be uploading from Twitch, so it may be a bit choppy for a little bit)

    I like your Fox!

7 MPLas was the first build I tested on this mech and it's too hot indeed. I'll try 6 MPLas today.
Not sure about the TC, wouldn't a TC1 be enough? (and add another DHS)

I don't see that going Mk1 with a DHS would ruin this mech...you get slightly less range for slightly better heat maintenance. Either way, this has quickly become one of my staple builds, it is absolutely BRUTAL once you get used to how the mech moves. I played several times after the video above, and did minimum 500/2-3 kills every game. It just isolates components too well.

Edit: Moving the variant to its own build, so Solahma's happy ;)

After using both variants, my feedback on either is to take cool shot! Doubly so if you've unlocked CS 9 by 9. While the ERML version can fire a bit more in a brawl, you need to have the CS for absolute "oh shit" moments where the enemy team rushes, and you need to get shots off as fast as possible. It will usually mean the difference between a win or loss in a firefight. You might even take two cool shots along, instead of a strike, but that's up to you. The ERML build still performs well, but it does melt components slower, simply because the damage takes a bit longer to get delivered out, so keep that in mind.

I can't rate my own posts, but I give this one 5 stars easily. These have been my most damaging and consistently nasty builds for the HBR.

Nice, a couple friends and I built similar ones. Only difference was I went with a TC1, and kept as many heatsinks at possible on left side, tried to reduce overall heat issues if I lose the RT.

Faced off one on one with with a friend… ThunderWub v. HellWub. HellWub won :)

I've definitely noticed the Thunderwhat has a bit of an advantage over the Thunderwub ;) Even with one less MPL, it does hit harder, even though it can't fire quite as fast without the cooldown/heat quirks. That extra damage per volley adds up. It also helps that you can peek out and bring at least 5 MPLs around to hit from behind good cover a lot easier on the HBR than on the TBR, which is less dangerous if there's a bunch of crap in the way.

I would just lower the leg armor to 38 each leg and add another DHS to the left arm or keep the TCII.

May end up doing that, but even with the current armor, I have been legged to death a few times. Taking it much lower really makes it fodder for meta lights like the Micro Psycho FS9-A, and one DHS wouldn't make a HUGE impact on cooling ability. I did move a DHS to each of the legs to help cooling in water (which I've been too lazy to fix in the OP), so if I did add a DHS, I could fit it in the LT instead of the lower armored arm.

One more DHS takes the cooling from 40% to 41% pre-basics, and from 46% to 47% with double basics. So far, in my experience, I've preferred having the armor instead, as it's been a far more important asset in matches. The heat is manageable with patience, and Cool Shot 9x9 is there for those times when you need to panic fire an extra volley or two. If I were to drop the leg armor for anything, it would be for some RA armor, just to have a shield that lasted a bit longer.
