I have just joined the ranks of the 500+ club Slight team damage because one derp cut across my face to land a killing blow on the last mech....
Two of those 'most damage dealt' kills were against two Atlases I spent the entire match teasing Gods that was fun. My fellow flea in that game and I tore it up and the poor bastards didnt know where to turn. We were nowhere but everywhere at the same time it was beautiful!
I'll just share an image. The Flea is a monster of a mech. Was browsing builds and never noticed this little exclusive club before. This is the highest damage I've squeezed out of this mech(or any mech). I used to not run arty so this was all pure lasers. Flea-17, 2MPL, 5SL. Standard build. Wish I took a pic of the team screen. I think it was mostly just back stabbing and farming heavies and assaults with weak back armor. It was almost a year ago so I can't remember. I have a bunch of 1000dmg matches and average about 500+. I never get less than 400 unless I get one shot which happens every now and then. Love this mech. It's too adorable.
Holy Moral that is insane! I've never seen damage that high, on a Flea to boot, amazing work. For my part I managed to finally crack 1K with my R5K. This leaves me with just the FLE-19 as my only Flea I haven't cracked 1k with yet. I have a youtube channel and will be posting my matches there soon if anyone is interested. So it looks like the non-MASC variants got some pretty decent agility boosts while the MASC variants got some small boosts but not in accel/deccel. Looks good to me and in fact it may incentivize taking the 15 or R5K a bit more, won't replace the 17 and 20 obviously but it's a welcome boost. Poor 19 needs more help than this though, IS MG boating simply can't compete with clan MG boating, FA needs some help as well. Thanks for the info remover of obstacles, I really appreciate it!
The FLE-17 is always my go-to mech if I need to feel good about my piloting skills. Another 1K match, this time in the new polar highlands. Stupid bad manners trolls stole my excitement sadly but I'm still proud of what I was able to do.
This Flea treats me too kindly. Another 1k match, sadly on the last opponent I got legged and wasn't able to go get caps so we did lose. Not sure even with a leg I could have reversed caps fast enough though so may be a moot point. Still a match that was tons of fun, my unit mate even broke 1k in the same match!
With the recent patch I decided to make some modifications to my Flea-15 and try out the larger engine. Must say I kinda like it! All SPL and MG with the XL 180 we now have access to.
After many years I've finally completed me personal challenge of getting 1k damage on every variant of the flea! The FLE-19 has finally cracked 1k damage to finish my challenge. I ran 8 LMG for this run.
Busted out the Fire ant after a long time of letting it sit in my mech bay. I forgot how much fun this little guy is. I swapped out my old build to use 3xSPL and 6xMG now, after 2 matches with it I'm pretty sure this is how it'll stay for a bit.
