I got an Ice Ferret pack and was looking for builds to run, and thought, gotta go big baby. This is I believe the biggest laser boom you can practically pack on there. Swap TC1 for heatsink while skilling it up if needed.

Fire groups:
Right click: 3xHML on your rightside.
Left click: 2xHML leftside + ERSL.
3rd group: Arm-mounted weapons.

Yes you can alpha. Usually however you can go rightside/leftside, based on cover/obstructions as you are clearing and moving.

I'm skilling up a bunch of Ice Ferrets right now and this one and the 6xERML one are the most fun.

Build name is taken from the enormous purple lightning beam of doom in Mega Man X.

Here's a match where I think I would have broken 1000 damage if I'd purchased the cERPPC weapon modules.

High DPS and cool lasers, backed up with accurate SRM launcher, plus max armor to try to survive.

Some Quirk Notes:
The IceFerret-C legs give +16 Structure, to stop you getting legged!
The IceFerret-A torsos give +11 Structure to stop your arms falling off.
By using the Prime Arm and the D Arm you can get all 4 lasers on the arms, allowing you great flexibility when firing, particularly when shooting at targets above or bellow you, or circle strafing.

You can do the skill tree however you want, but I would suggest stacking with the quirks to get a total of:

16.6% cooldown for your SRM's (fire every 3.1 seconds)
11% SRM spread

However, if you give up the set of 8 bonuses, you gain a dead side, an extra DHS and reduced heat gen (3 of the LA options can give this. I went with the IFR Prime LA because I already had it for some reason. I'm guessing a Supply cache at some point)



You could take this a step further and if you had a P Chassis, trade 1 ERML for an ECM. Can you cook with a fridge? YES YOU CAN! Is it good? NO! But it's a fridge with 4 flamers, decent mid range firepower, and a finishing punch. I'd 100% reserve this for fucking around in QP.

If you're comfortable putting one of the lasers on the arms you can go for 2xHLL.

Saw the complaints about the FS-A with SPL after the quirks and wondered how cSPL are actually doing.

Well, range is surely not great, but if you add a TC5 you get a nice range and crit bonus. Combined with cSPL range and cooldown modules level 5, I found this build to be good fun. First match without having basic skills unlocked: 5 kills, 750ish damage.

Surprised this one isn't here as it meshes very well with the Prime version. Uses the A arm and lower actuators/hands but Smurfy keeps removing them for some reason. Adjust the rear armour to your preference.

The 12 DHS that it comes with are plenty to keep the paired ERLL running and the TC1 helps with getting targetting data and critting. With Radar module I haven't once missed ECM. The arms have great targetting movement.

It has the classic ERLL weakness in brawling so keep mobile and at range. You have heavy armour and high speed so can survive damage beyond the Raven or even Cicada.
