Yeah, the Victor has a beefy arm, there. That does you no good if the AC/20 or its ammo get totaled. Scale down to an AC/10 and drop one JJ to get enough free tonnage to increase your mid-range damage and your armor. Not to mention the fact that you can bring the AC/10 into combat at least one round earlier than the close-up AC/20.

Adjustments: Trading 1ML to step up from an SRM4 to an SRM6 is always a consideration.

Pros: More survivable than stock with 1080 armor, makes a good finisher or a capable headshotter with the right skills.
Cons: Still light armor for an Assault, less jumpy than stock, and firepower rating is light without upgraded components...

Aaaaaand here we have the same build with some far better components.

This build features LRMs to let the mech contribute to battle while it jogs into the AO. Also, the lighter UAC/10++ allows this config to boast 1120 armor, as well. I ditched the JJs. The SL is for insult to injury after a punch. Honestly, somewhere between this config and the stock model is likely ideal.
