My favorite build so far with this chassis. No point not running an XL on Banshees in my opinion (unless you want to take HGauss or an AC20), and the 3S has pretty decent armor quirks for the STs. Over 100 front armor with skill tree. Heat management is good enough you can run ERML instead. The extra range syncs well with the LPLs of course but I personally prefer regular MLs. Mobility and CT armor are getting little bumps June 2019 patch as well!
Hi and welcome to mechspecs! I strongly suggest to read the FAQ on how to properly name your build and how to post /embed links. https://mechspecs.com/faq/builds-section.1/category In particular... Be sure to use the plain/direct link with no square brackets: the site will take care of stripping away the useless URL stuff to embed it properly. Code: Plain link: https://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=146&l=184afc3f7cb832dabb04aa296d4eb3fd8e2502a3 Embedded link (pasting the previous link in the "media" button): Result: The same applies to images: Code: https://i.postimg.cc/TYgmPG3T/20181212192546_1.jpg Spoiler: Result EDIT: I didn't noticed there was a link in the first letter of your OP _ Code:
I really don't like an XL engine on a banshee. It is true that you have +16 armor per side torso but don't forget that: your side torsoes are big and easy to isolate: snipers can focus fire on a single side torso you have few high hardpoints, so most of the times you can't trade properly at range If for any chance your left torso will be stripped of any armor, there is a very chance the gauss will explode resulting in a premature trip back to the mechlab. This mech is still a 95 tonner bith mediocre to bad hardpoints, so trades at range aren't really great Also, about the weapons, ML + range quirk have good synergy with LPLs (both cooldown and range), but a single gauss rifle isn't worth it considered the mean optimal range (~350-ish meters compared to gauss 600+ range) and the previous point on Gauss + XL combo. If you really want to keep that gauss rifle, I strongly recommended to consider one of my previous builds because it has the best overall weapon synergy (range and cooldown): Invasion BNC-3S "Alpha Strike! v2" (1xGR, 3xLL, 4xERML, TC1, LE325) BNC-3S "It's a me, Alpha Strike!" (1xGauss, 5xERML, 2xLL, TC1, LE325) Still, I gave up on those builds a while ago due to laser hardpoints nerf. If you don't want to give up the LPL + ML + Gauss combo, you can drop a LPL for a ML (you lose only 5 dmg per alpha strike) but you can fit a LE325 and that 3rd ton of gauss ammo. _
