Ah good, looks like no gameplay tinkering, just comp stuff.
It's been like 1,5 years or so since actual content updates I'd even take a zany rework of any gameplay system that turns out more broken than what it replaced, just to have something new to do in the game
Bring back Escort!
Not sure if trolling or serious, but in any case...
Not serious. But you gotta admit, that would add some unpredictability to the game
Sure, but IMHO unpredictability rarely brings fun if it's not the entire point of the game, e.g. Darkest Dungeon gameplay main purpose is to achieve the best you can despite the worst shit will happen to the party. In a tactical FPS like MWO, the unpredictability would be having your team run around away from the slow ass VIP and/or being on the unlucky attackers side that will have to deal with permalocks and no way to flank the defenders without being discovered (Escort is by far the WORST game mode for any light pilot, unless you are bringing long range weapons).
Honestly, I am one of the guys teamkilling my own VIP to end the game as soon as possible (if most players were ok with that, obviously).
I'd bring back Escort. I never got a chance to see if I could instagib the VIP with the megarocket Archer.
Or a consumable that makes your mech poop out an invisible nuclear landmine.
the VIP had mega structure and armor. I doubt even dual Heavy Gauss to the head could oneshot it
Oh hell no. VIP had something like 340 armor front torsos each, 350 rear torsos each, 340 head armor, etc etc. Stock structure though, as far as I remember.
But the Archer can run 8xRL20 and a RL10/15 in the CT, giving you a 350 damage alpha
