This thing essentially does one of my favorite builds the Summoner can do in 'The Knife' - but with a whole 20t less on the scale. Speedy, sufficient ammo for sniping and poptarting in a game of PUG, AMS as additional protection theis glass-canon type mech and a shield side with a cXL engine. You can easily change the side you're using the Gauss on. I went with the left side as I found out I tend to shield with the right side instinctively when taking fire. The heat efficieny is high enough for a lot of cERPPC shots even on hot maps. As a variant you could also go with a cXL225, especially after unlocking speed tweak. This allows for more ammo (CW / Faction Play anyone?), even more cooling or a bigger TC. Example variant:
