So, keeping with my original "Brawl Theory" build... I decided to keep the PPC instead of switching to a large laser. At range, it keeps less time on target needed. So goes my theory. Plus since then, I think I might have got a little better with PPCs. Any changes would likely be a downgrade to the SRM to see if I can squeeze more speed out of it. The more I look at it, the more I am also thinking that an XL with speed might be the right answer.
Your idea about going with an XL engine makes a lot of sense. The XL lets you have double SRM6 with artemis and more ammo as well as more jumpjets and speed. Apart from that it plays roughly the same though you do have to be a bit more careful because of the XL. I've only switched over to this build a day ago but so far it feels better than my ''Faceless'' build which I'd posted earlier.
