Leave it to Expansion 3 to bring a useful light mech or two to make early game easier. This mech is built for kicking. Give it to your best Piloting mechwarrior and keep it moving fast, and the 5x SLs will turn your measly melee into monstrous melee. Adjustment option: Drop one SL to add leg armor and make your heat buildup better. Pros: More survivable than stock with 360 armor rating, 150 Alpha on a 20-tonner?! No volatile ammo. Cons: No shield arm, no long range, paper back armor isn't ideal for melee, alpha strike only within very short range. This build shown using standard equipment. Using + or ++ is not recommended on a mech this light.
