Yes the other Commandos can run this build and as far as offensive firepower goes it is not that great. But seeing as how there are so many missile boats in the game these days it could be a real asset to your team. And the 3A gets no love.
Another take on this idea for you: Drop the TAG, a DHS, and the SRM2/ammo for a second laser and the max engine. Almost same firepower with no ammo dependency, 171KPH after tweak, you have a super fast NARC platform. This kind of build is not really meant for high damage anyway, it's a support mech plain and simple, and the ability to get in fast, NARC, and bug out just as quickly is super important.
Ok how about this then? I like the idea of the max engine but I think the tag is almost more useful then the narc with so much ecm these days. So I traded some firepower for speed.
