BLR-1D "The Duke" (3x AC2, 5x MLas, XL375)

This is the flavor I ended up with, not too different from some others posted here. Liked to have only one ammo type and the smallest engine with 5x HS slots.

Went up against one of these a few days ago. It absolutely tears things apart!

Will play-test more myself this week.

Didn't try exactly that build (not so fond of mixing guns with different ammo), but I used this for a while:



Guess many flavors work, its a solid chassi!

 

I run a similar one, except I have a LLAS in the right arm to help poke at range. Nice build.

 

Ran it for a bunch of matches, ended up trading one AC2 for an AC5.

I must admit, one Ravenc was giving me ECM cloak for most of the game

 

This is a good build. I purchased a STD 325 to run this build and it was worth every cbill. On my good matches, I get 700 or more damage and a few kills. Even on my worst matches, I usually feel as if I've at least pulled my weight.
