Simple, cheap, and effective in both solaris and standard matches. To keep the heat down I start firing with either the left or right cannon first and if the target is unable to get away, I lay on both cannons at once. Watch the armor and structure fly.
5/5, Simple, Cheap and Effective perfectly describe this build! As a first build there's not really anything you could do better. Here's the less cheap version though and a slightly less expensive than the expensive one too: In this 'optimal' build I mostly removed the TC1 and one ton of ammo to mount FF (I needed the slots and I don't imagine using the ammo or targeting computer as effectively). I think they're perfectly fine additions when using the stock engine though, and you could also remove the extra DHS to put them back on, because the extra engine heatsink should be more than capable of dissipating the heat of 2RAC5.
Yeah, I just had some spare tonnage and a spare TC1 laying around. Figured it might give those RAC's a boost. I like your adjustments.
4/5, 2 RAC5, LE275 & 2 MLAS, it's effective but in this category I'have preference for the 3 RAC2 Build. Less dispersion shoot, better Cooling efficiency for approximatly same dammage.
