No JJ version is actually more versatile, but 2xHGR free trade poptart is atrociously good and also cancer... Anyway, here is my current build. STD295, extremely fast with skill tree, 6 tons of ammo... For the true try harders _ Spoiler: Skill tree Previous Post: Did you ever loved the idea to poptart with double heavy gauss? Now you can. Despite you don't get any quirk for any ballistic weapon, since this build does not build up heat at all (you could even not upgrade to DHS), you can focus on many other skill nodes otherwise secondary in many other builds, like cooldown in the firepower tree, speed tweak despite being an assault and so on... Speed may not be extremely important, but it's still a very nice thing to have due to the fact you are still a brawler and your optimal range is short. You can't deal 1000 damage, but you can still get a lot of KMDD and money Spoiler ALT: tweak engine and the amount of JJs as you prefer. You could drop with 3 JJs (I would not drop with less than 6 ton of ammo) or with no JJ at all and fit Light Ferro. New recommended skill tree: https://kitlaan.gitlab.io/mwoskill/?h=a5f4f1ec766de5c11b1cff3db7d0000000000000000000050bfdff6820103#s=Sensor Systems Max cooldown, max range, max ammo, max armor, max reinforced casing (crit chance receive), max radar deprivation, max seismic sensor, max airstrike
Played the alternate build with the 285 engine all last night and had a ton of fun. The extra mobility versus other HGR platforms is really nice but its still shooting 50 point heatless alphas! Will be sticking to this for a while probably.
Most fun with double heavy gauss build I've ever done. Some lucky headshots, but the most satisfying piranha killer. One Hit KO
I've been using this as a newer player with terrible reflexes. There is NO way I can spend 5 tons of ammo before I die. The 275 engine opens this thing up to it's full potential, I think. Skill tree emphasizing mobility, but *NEEDS* radar deprivation. missiles are my leading cause of death. Also I need to think about the back armour situation on this thing. center torso rear protudes like a Dragon's nose. ALL CT rear, baby. A fair point, but I think Sleipnir's has slightly better tankiness, maneuverability (acceleration and deceleration, unluckily no JJs), hitboxes and ammo count. Victor is unique thanks to JJs, but I prefer dropping with Sleipnir rather than Victor. In case of urban environments Victor has the upper hand thanks to JJs and poptarting, but poptarting tends to be a bit more situational.
UPDATE: new version with STD295, extremely fast with skill tree, 6 tons of ammo... But no JJs. For the true try harders _ Spoiler: Skill tree
5/5, This build is a pain to see on the battlefield with a top tier try-hard in it. ugh. Respect though. I will definitely build one some day and skill it up. Sleipnir dual HG is a waste of those beautiful other ballistic hardpoints. IMHO the only acceptable Sleipnir builds are 4xLB10X or 4xUAC5.
