This is almost meta. The meta from Grimmechs had a single JJ, and I was annoyed that I couldn't get up on things. Replaced one DHS with two more JJ's and optimized the armor some more. Why isn't the meta build here? Well, here it is: Also, I felt obligated to make my Vulcan-5T look like Samus.
5/5, Confirmed meta build. These things are nasty little buggers. And agreed, I think your version with 3xJJ's is superior to just 1xJJ. My build and skill tree: _ https://kitlaan.gitlab.io/mwoskill/...062101cff7f0000d86f770f0000808f0703#s=Weapons
No JJs on Wolfhounds. And I've definitely seen quite a few of these Vulcans about. I think they may have slightly better hitboxes
Also, compare the agility between the Vulcan and the Wolfhound: accel, decel, turning, etc. Vulcan's considerably better.
I stand corrected sometimes a little hop is worth more than 10 kph and/or ecm. And agility is probably even more important.
5/5, At the moment I'm using the 1xJJ version with +1 DHS because I'm still skilling it, but it is damn nasty even with little to no skills. This mech actually has a very nice maneuverability (it almost feels like a light mech), so I think it can be further exploited with a proper skill tree, like the following https://kitlaan.gitlab.io/mwoskill/...062101cf37f000028710270a5dff6000000#s=Weapons EDIT: previous recommended skill tree https://kitlaan.gitlab.io/mwoskill/...0c271ccf37f000028710270a5df76000000#s=Weapons
XL280 version: slower, but so cool you could try to not skill into heat gen at all and skill into survivability _
The Meta usually only uses 1 JJ on a mech like this. This build isn't meant for poptarting, so anything more than 1 JJ is considered wasted when another HS will result in less heat/more salvos. Think "Brawl Support". However, in PUG's, more JJ's definitely are needed. Great build, great mech.
