I am so in love with this guy. I'm getting closer and closer to the 1000+ club with this build. Only about 115 from it last game, ran out of people to shoot. Could drop the AMS for extra ammo or jump jets if you wanted but I like the utility of AMS. Makes me feel useful on Polar highlands but jump jets are super useful. Take your pick I guess.
You've got 13 unused slots. At the very least you could go light ferro, but if you could clear up 1 more slot you could go endo-steel. The following is faster & has 1 ton more ammo, with heat and everything else the same: I recommend maxing out your center chest armor. You should probably also put one ton of ammo in the head instead of having it all in the side torso that's likely to be shot up. Normally I'd put the rest of the ammo in the legs, but your legs are kinda skimping on the armor so that might be a bad idea. How necessary is the beagle active probe? I see that more on mechs with missiles that track (LRMs, SSRMs). Perhaps you could drop that and up your armor: That's probably the best I'm gonna get. I wouldn't mind seeing a MRM40 or some jump jets, but I think you're better off with the 275 engine and the AMS.
I'll try them out thanks. BAP for ECM counters when I'm with my team(and I set up camp in the middle of my assaults until mid to late game) but other than that it's expendable. I had the weight and was trying to add some utility like with the AMS. I never think of armor unless I'm trying to shave weight so I always forget.
Oh Cool! Looks like he built this: He traded in two heat sinks and the AMS for the MRM40 upgrade, two jump jets, and 18 more armor. Pretty good build! Won both games as well.

It is so jumpy! Jump, jump, jump and pop tart your MRM and ML burst. Stay with and support your assaults and heavies. Use your UAV's and Arty strikes to help the team out.
