    -15% cooldown and +10% range and JJs. A chicken poptart.

    As always, HPPC and LPPC projectiles will travel at the same speed, so you can alpha strike with no projectile speed or convergence issue. Just be mindful of the different cooldown.

    Unluckily there are no PPC velocity quirk, but you can spam those PPC combo most of the time.
    Compared to a more "classic" 2xPPC combo, you get + 1 DHS, which makes it VERY slightly cooler even if we suppose there is no longer cooldown.
    2xPPC = 9.5*2 = 19 heat
    1xHPPC+ 1xLPPC = 14.5 + 5 = 19.5 heat
    Considering 1 DHS cools off 0.22 heat/s
    -0.22 heat/s * 4s = 0.88 heat (which is greater compared to the 0.5 heat gain by using 2xPPC

    Interesting discussion. Regarding the heat difference between 2PPC and H+LPPC:

    The cooldown for HPPC is 5 seconds not 4, so more DHS help more, the longer the cycle. Extra DHS also increase the total heat capacity. Of course, dual PPC have 20% better dps than H+LPPC (firing synced), but this build is not meant to stand and fire continuously. Theoretical DPS means nothing once you hit the heat limit - then it is just heat efficiency (damage/heat) times cooling rate.

    Overall, I think HPPC+LPPC+DHS > 2PPC.
    You just need the crit slots to spare.

    Exactly. Faster RoF doesn't really matter once at full heat cap, so HPPC and LPPC can fire slightly more frequently despite the overall lower maximum DPS (it trades maximum burst DPS in favor of sustained DPS).
